Why I do it:
Photography isnāt just a creative outlet or a business for me. Itās a way to connect with my community by putting them at the center of their own story. My clients are often folks who donāt usually give themselves that kind of attention. Thereās something powerful about being witnessed, and I believe that documenting your life, whether itās a big milestone or a quiet everyday moment, is a way of honoring yourself.
My approach is casual and low-pressure. Iām hands off when it comes to letting you be yourself, and hands on when it comes to creating a space where you feel confident, supported, and seen. Iāll guide you when you need it and step back when you donāt.
I actually got my start in music journalism, photographing shows, interviewing bands, and trying to capture the energy of it all. Thatās where I first fell in love with storytelling and visuals. From there, I started getting into editorial portraits, which let me explore a more creative side of working with people one-on-one.
Eventually, I started dabbling in branding work and weddings, just seeing what clicked. Now, I focus on documentary-style weddings and brand photoshoots that feel real, relaxed, and honest. Iām all about capturing things as they actually are, without too much fuss, but with a lot of intention.
